Light and Enlightenment in Joseph Wright of Derby’s The Alchymist
T from Monmouth University in Art Education. Baltimore native Daniel Stuelpnagel has exhibited his paintings since in more than shows in galleries and alternative venues nationwide. His specialty is designing commission collections for corporate clients in the architecture and technology fields. Stuelpnagel recently completed a two-year residency at the historic Mill Centre Artist Studios in Hampden. Pursuing his fascination with science, architecture and technology, Stuelpnagel works in a systematic layered process of painting geometric abstractions composed with tape and painted in acrylic on canvas and wood panels.
Minas Konsolas was born in Greece and has lived in Baltimore since , where he graduated from the Maryland Institute, College of Art.

He is known for employing a variety of artistic styles and techniques, which allows his work to continually evolve. This body of work explores collage. His constant focus is how light interacts with color and form. This work is his attempt to express a heartfelt connection to Baltimore, his adopted hometown. By working with collage on canvas, Konsolas creates a warm, patchwork effect, reminiscent of a comfortable quilt.
These pieces are his way of embracing the city that he loves so much. He creates his textured images by scraping and smearing. This process allows him to paint and draw at the same time.
He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art. The gallery, one of Baltimore's alternative art spaces, was located above his vintage clothing boutique in Hampden. It was a gathering spot for local artists, writers and performers for twenty-two years. His work has appeared in numerous literary journals, including Maryland Poetry Review and Passager.
His original artwork and reproductions are widely collected, locally, nationally and abroad. Eyal Azrad is a Maryland based photographer with a passion for preserving moments in time that he can reflect on forever. His work is inspired by exploration and discovery of the natural world through skateboarding. He is fascinated by how the connections he forms with people through skateboarding coincide with the beauty of the world around him, and he captures these experiences in their most raw state. These connections impact who he is and the work that he chooses to create. Eyal displays his vision with the juxtaposition of natural and urban landscapes through photographs and upcycled displays of various materials.
He also creates hand crafted mounts and frames from found recycled materials.

This collection will feature both fiber art pieces and small sculptures created mostly from found objects. Carter Roach is an artist from Baltimore, who loves creating dynamic characters and letters with energetic colors. Carter uses spray paint, acrylics, oils, markers and other mixed media to form each character and its surroundings. Every so often Carter puts on an interactive and unique art show called The Quest for Breignstorm.

The Quest invites viewers to open their senses and experience art in a natural environment where paintings are hung on trees, sculptures are hanging from the treetops and seemingly coming out of the ground. He is inspired by the natural world, music, typography and sign painting, psychedelic culture and surrealism.
Her work encompasses figures, still lives, and abstraction inspired by nature. This rhythm can be musical or emotional. Besides house work and chores, Fatima doesn't have many important duties. She understands that men must leave the women they love for long periods of time, although this may not be true. She knows that if Santiago really does love her, he will come back for her possibly and hopefully with the treasure he left to go find. Although Santiago is resistant with leaving Fatima alone, she convinces him to go because she is confident that he loves her.
The main character in this novel is a young boy named Santiago. Melchizedek was the old man that Santiago met who helped him make his decision to set out on his journey to follow his Personal Legend. Santiago, the protagonist in the novel is described as curious, adventurous, grateful, and always alert at all times. He loves to explore and view the world and how other cities look like. Since Santiago is a shepherd, he has to spend his nights sleeping on the floor with only his jacket and a book that is used for his pillow.
